WIRING THE VIP-GATEWAY TRIGGER INPUTS
Wiring Trigger inputs for trigger for transmission of video to server:
Provide a momentary short on terminals 1a, 2a, 3a, 4a to initiate transmission of video to
VideoAlert.net server.
Wiring Trigger inputs for latching of camera to video out output for local viewing /
processing:
Provide a latching short on terminals 1b, 2b, 3b, 4b to latch video of cameras 1-4 respec-
tively to the Video Output connector
Note:
Each Trigger Channel must be
enabled in the Advanced Settings
screens of VideoAlert.net (see
page 9).
Trigger inputs may be switched
from N/O to N/C in in the Ad-
vanced Settings screens of
VideoAlert.net. (see page 9).
If programming Triggers, you
MUST program the VideoAlert
server IP address under the Se-
curity tab (see page 10).
TRIGGERING ONLY WHEN ARMED
An armed input is provided that will allow video triggering only when the input is open. To use, connect the Black
and White wire inputs on the power transformer harness to a n/c armed panel output. When shorted, video trigger-
ing will be disabled. This input may be controlled by an RB1000 relay wired to a control panel as shown below.
