Initialization Adjustments After Replacing Parts
Initialization is required whenever the game PCB, the joystick assembly and/or the
potentiometers are replaced.

Adjusting the Joystick Assembly (Initialization)
With the joystick centered, hold the Service Switch and turn the Test
Switch “ON”. The “VOLUME ADJUST” screen (below) will appear.
The joystick assembly is automatically initialized with this action.
Set the test switch to “OFF” to return to the Menu Screen again.

Select “SWITCH to test the joysticks.
If:
a) “CENTER” appears when the joystick is set in the neutral position
and
b) “OK” when the joystick is pushed all way down,
then
the joystick assembly is adjusted correctly.
If operation does not appear normal, minor adjustments can be made to the
joysticks by selecting “JOYSTICK ADJUST” on the Screen (Ref.
Section S-3-2).
