Inspecting the Pillow Unit

WARNING

Make sure that the power is turned OFF.
If work is to be carried out with the covers removed, take care not to trap
hands or fingers in the mechanism.

When greasing the step-lock, inspect the pillow assembly for any problems.

1.

Release the step-lock and swing the steps to the left and right, and check
the pillow units for any wear. Also check that the Hex Head Screws
(M14x45) are tight.

2.

Swing the steps left and right, and check that the main torsion bar is secure.
Also check that the Hex Head Screws (M10x25) are tight.

3.

Reassemble the vac-forms and control panel. Remember to connect the
connector when refitting the control panel.
