This device should not be used by children.

do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and 

maintenance should not be carried out by

1. Safety Instructions

This section covers the basic safety regulations in  

working with the electric lawnmower.

 

General Safety Instructions 

This device may cause serious injuries  in 

case of improper use.

To avoid damage to persons and property, 

please read and observe the following safety 

instructions without fail and get yourself 

familiarized with all the operating parts well.

Preparation:

• This device is not intended to be used by 

persons (including children) with reduced 

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of 

experience and/or lack of knowledge, unless they 

are supervised by a person responsible for their 

safety or receive instructions from this person as 

to how the device is to be used. 

• Children should be supervised to ensure that 

they do not play with the appliance.

• Never allow children or other people who do 

not know the user manual, to use the appliance.  

Local regulations may fix the minimum age of the 

person operating the device.

• Never keep the device switched on while 

persons, especially children and pets are in the 

vicinity.

• The operator or user is responsible for accidents 

or damage to other people or their property.

• Check the grounds, in which the device will be 

used and remove stones, sticks, wires or other 

foreign bodies, which can be caught and hurled 

away. 

 

• Wear appropriate work clothing such as solid 

footwear with non-slip soles and  sturdy, long 

trousers.  Do not use the appliance if you are 

walking barefooted or if you are wearing open 

sandals.

Before each use, carry out a visual inspection of 

the device. Do not use the appliance if protective 

devices (e.g. impact protection or grass sack) 

have parts of the cutting unit or bolts missing or 

if they are worn out or damaged.
