OPERATING THE CHICKEN FINGER
The chicken finger is designed to hold the i3 Quick Release loop in position in the harness hook.
WARNING: To release yourself from the kite in an emergency situation, you must activate the i3 QR
when the chicken fi nger is installed.

To connect the i3 Quick Release loop and
chicken fi nger to the harness hook:
1) Hook the i3 Quick Release loop onto the
harness hook.
2) Insert the chicken fi nger into the center
section of the harness hook.
WARNING: Make sure the chicken fi nger is
positioned below the i3 Quick Release loop and
is completely inserted into the harness hook.
To disconnect the i3 Quick Release loop and chicken
fi nger from the harness hook:
1) Pull the chicken fi nger out of the harness hook.
2) Unhook the i3 Quick Release loop from the
harness hook.
When installing the Chicken Loop onto your spreader bar, it is imperative that you rotate the Chicken Finger
so that it is fully seated against the Chicken Loop and the alignment lines match up. Improper setting of the
Chicken Finger could allow the Chicken Loop to inadvertently come off your spreader bar.
