2. DVD-Video Group in DVD-Audio Disc is available
The new menu to select either DVD-Audio or DVD-Video Group is included on
"Others" in Setup Menu.
"Others" is only activated at either "No disc" or "OPEN". Then, one can select
either DVD-Audio or DVD-Video Group for DVD-Audio disc supporting
DD/PCM/DTS for DVD-Video Group.
The factory default will be "DVD-Audio" Group
WARNING! DO NOT POWER OFF THE M55/T585 DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS.
Do Not Press any Front Panel Buttons or Remote Control Buttons until instructed by this
procedure.
Failure to do this will permanently delete the software and the unit will not come out of
standby.
1. Connect a monitor / TV to the Composite Video Output.
2. Connect M55/T585 to a stable AC power supply. Uninterrupted Power Supply
recommended.
3. Power on the M55/T585, and open the drawer. Remove any Discs.
4. Go to step # 21-24 to determine the software version in the M55.
5. Insert the M55/T585 Firmware Upgrade CD and close the drawer.
6. The monitor / TV will display the : "READING" ... "FLASH" ... "BANK30.ROM" ...
"READING" ...
"FLASH" ... "ERASE" ... "WRITE" ... "DONE"... at the top left corner of the monitor/TV
screen.
7. The M55/T585 will go into standby immediately or within a few minutes.
