Exposed Shower Valve Installation
1. Important: Flush pipe work prior to installation to remove debris from the system.
2. Turn off water supply following system flushing.
3. The valve should be installed with the water outlet to the bottom and the cold inlet to the right (indicated by a
blue dot). Prepare hot and cold inlet pipes (15mm) with centres 150mm apart, cold supply to the right.
Important: Leave a minimum of 10mm exposed pipe protruding from finished wall surface to allow
fixing nut and olive connections.
4. Fit elbows with sealing washer loosely to the tap body.
5. Centre wall bracket between pipe ends and mark drill holes.
6.
Important - Use appropriate fixings suitable for wall type/construction.
See Safety Note overleaf.
Drill holes to suit wall type/construction and required fixings (Use wall plugs supplied as required).
7. Position wall bracket on wall and insert screws and tighten, but not fully.
8. Push mixer body onto wall bracket and twist to engage lugs. It may require some manoeuvring to ensure
vertical alignment of the mixer body.
9. Remove mixer body from wall bracket and re-align as marked, then tighten screws holding wall bracket to
wall and re-fit mixer body.
10. Fit flanges to inlet pipe and fit elbows to inlet pipe ends using fixing nuts and copper olives and tighten
securely.
11. Place the handle onto the valve, to check that it moves freely left and right. When satisfied, fit grub
screw and tighten with the hexagonal key supplied in pack.
12. Insert cap to the handle.
13. Turn on water supply and check for leaks.
