Troubleshooting
Eliminate the most common myPV CommsSafe operational issues quickly and safely.
No AC Power
If there is no AC power showing for your myPV CommsSafe there are a few main
things this could be attributed to.
First - check for any blown fuses - these fuses will often have an indicator LED light
that should illuminate given any issues; however - if in an area with lots of sun, this
could be difficult to spot.
If the fuses are not blown; check for a loss of auxiliary power. A loss of auxiliary
power would show as having no AC power.
If the auxiliary power and the fuses are not the issue - reach out to our support team.
UPS Trouble
In the event of the UPS setting off an alarm - there are a few main cases that could
potentially be causing the issue.
FUSES: The first item to check will be your fuses. Make sure all of the fuses are
seated properly and are fully plugged in. Also check to ensure no fuses are blown. If
the fuses are not properly seated or are blown, they will not function correctly.
