This feature enhances hard disk performance by making multi-sector
transfers instead of one sector per transfer. Most IDE drives, except
very early designs, can use this feature. Make sure your hard disk
drive is compatible before enabling this selection to prevent loss of
data on the drive.
Typematic Rate Setting

This feature defines the keyboard's Typematic Rate and Typematic
Delay. When disabled, the default values of 6 characters/sec and
250ms delay are used.
Typematic Rate (Chars/Sec): The values are 2, 6, and 30 characters
per second.
Typematic Delay (key repeat rate): The values are 250, 500, 700, and
1000 milliseconds

Setup
System: The system will not boot and access to setup will be denied
if the correct password is not entered at the prompt.
Setup: The system will boot, but access to setup will be denied if the
correct password is not entered at the prompt.
When either selection is enabled, a prompt will display for you to
enter and confirm your own password. If a password is totally lost,
you will need to reinstall the operating system in order to circumvent
the password requirement.
