Safety instructions for electric grass shears:
• The grass shears must not be used by children and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge which could jeopardise their safety. This product should not be
used by anyone that has not read the instruction manual unless they have
been instructed in its use by someone who will take responsibility for their
safety.
• Read through the manual and familiarise yourself with the controls for the
correct operation of the grass shears.
• Never let children or adults use the grass shears without first having read
the instruction manual.
• Never use the grass shears very close to anyone, especially children or
animals.
• Make sure that you know how to switch the grass shears off.
• Familiarise yourself with your surroundings and be prepared for any
dangers should they arise.
• Always inspect the grass shears before use. The cutter should be repaired
if it has struck a foreign object and there are signs of wear or damage.
• Only use the grass shears when there is sufficient daylight or artificial light
for good vision.
• Keep hands and feet away out of the cutting zone.
• Make sure to always stand in a safe position when using the grass shears.
• The grass shears must not be left unattended where children can access
them, they have a built-in battery which enables them to be switched on if
both buttons are pressed in.
• The grass shears have a built-in battery, think carefully about how to hold
the shears safely when cleaning them, inspecting them or removing clogged
material from the blades.
• Switch the grass shears off immediately if the cutter has come into contact
with a foreign object or if the shears begin to vibrate abnormally.
• Consider the damage the blades could do to your hands and feet if they
were to come into contact.
• Always ensure that the ventilation openings are kept clear from debris.
• Always switch off the grass shears and have the blade guard mounted in
place whenever moving or transporting it.
