MAINTENANCE
WARNING Procedures not specifically explained in the manual must be performed only by a qualified
technician.

Cleaning instructions: wipe down with a dry or slightly damp cloth.

from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES
•
Always make sure the unit is in the OFF position when changing batteries.
•
Rotate the cover on the base of the unit counter-clockwise to remove cover.
•
Carefully remove the battery compartment cover screws and cover.
•
Replace the batteries in the proper orientation shown on the battery holder.
BATTERY NOTICE:
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc) or re-
chargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries. Replace all batteries at one time. To avoid leakage or explosion, do
not put batteries in fire. Remove batteries if consumed or if product is to be left unused for a long period of
time. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the devices prior to battery installation.

Replace the battery compartment cover by aligning the tabs with the space in the grooves
and replace the battery cover screws.
•
Replace the cover by rotating clockwise until the cover is secure and will not rotate any
further (be careful not to over-tighten).
IMPORTANT:
When replacing your batteries, please comply with the current local regulations concerning
their disposal. Please dispose of them in a place intended for this purpose so as to ensure that their disposal
is safe and respects the environment.
