CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
When the display shows the digits "
Lo
" when the scale is turned on, it will
indicate that the batteries are exhausted and need to be replaced.
Do not try to disassemble the batteries, do not short them and never heat
them or throw them into the fire. Do not mix new batteries with used
batteries. If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long period of time,
remove the batteries and store them in a cool place.
Batteries contain pollutants from the environment, so, once the life of them
is exhausted, DO NOT throw them away, put them in the right place for
later recycling.
Clean the scale with a soft cloth moistened with water or a mild detergent.
DO NOT use abrasive chemicals to clean it.
Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperature and humidity, direct
sunlight, water or dust.
