Battery for electric ignitor is not included. Please purchase one standard AAA battery (1,5 V). and
insert as shown in fig. „Step 9“Pay attention to correct polarity. In case of longer non-use of the the
fire table, please remove battery to prevent leaking.Battery take-back
*Batteries must not be discarded into domestic waste.
*The consumer is legally required to return batteries after use, e.g. to public collection centers or
battery distributors.
*Contaminant-containing batteries are labelled with the sign “cross-out trashcan” and one of the
chemicals. Used batteries should be disposed environmentally-friendly
and should not be discarded into domestic waste. Your dealer is equally required to take back old
batteries.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To connect the gas bottle to the unit
To connect the gas bottle to the unit:
1. Ensure that all connecting threads and surfaces are undamaged, clean and free from oil dirt. When
fitting the hose make sure that it is free from twisting, kinks or sharp bends. Do not allow the hose to
touch any hot surface or sharp edges.
2. Attach the regulator to the gas cylinder. Refer to the instructions supplied with the regulator for
details regarding fitting.
3. Test for gas leaks.
Do a leak test each time the cylinder is installed, whether or not it has been filled.
Check all other joints at least once a year. lf the hose shows deterioration or damage, leak test the
entire outer surface, while under pressure. Replace at first sign of leak or age cracking. Remember to
turn the cylinder valve OFF before removing the hose
Looking for possible gas leaks
It‘s not the flame that looks for the gas leak. Make sure there is no spark or flame near the area
during sealing inspection. Sparks and flames can cause fires or explosions, which can cause
serious or even fatal damage and material damage.
KONTROLLE AUF LECKS
Make a leak check solution by mixing 1 part dish washing soap with
3 parts water in a spray bottle. Make sure control knob is “OFF.” Then, turn LP gas tank to
“ON” at valve. Spray leak solution on valve connections paying particular attention to the
areas indicated by arrows. If any bubbles appear turn LP gas tank OFF, reconnect and re-test.
If you continue to see bubbles after several attempts, disconnect LP gas source and contact
xxxxxxxxx at xxxxxxxxxxxx for assistance.
If no bubbles appear after one minute turn tank OFF, wipe away solution and proceed.
