Calibrating table height 53

To optimize the gap between the print head and media, calibrate the table height position.

This menu helps to correct following symptoms on your print:

• Ink bleeding

• Faint print

• Ink mottling

For details on the related sections of the Panel Setting menu, see the following.

"Mnt. 6: Calibration" on page 84

Calibrating table height

[1]

After printing, press the [Menu] key.

[2]

Press the [-] key until “Menu3: Maintenance >” appears.

• Press the [>] key.

[3]

Press the [-] key until “Mnt.6: Calibration” appears.

• Press the [Enter] key.

[4]

Press the [Enter] key.

The message on the left will appear.

• The table moves to the front side of the printer.

[5]

The message on the left will appear.

• Remove the media, and then press the [Enter] key.

The message on the left will appear.

• The printer starts table height calibration.

[6]

The calibration is now complete.

Note

If the problem still persists after the calibration, go to following menus to perform printing adjustment and media feeding adjustment.
