Audio Setup
OUTPUT Setting
This recordable DVD player provides various types of audio output to set and that include 2-channel stereo sound, Dolby
Digital 5.1 surround sound, and digital sound output.

in the stop mode.

Press / to select a preferred output setting.
NOTE:
If you have selected “Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound” as your output setting, you could choose to ON/OFF the
following options: “CENTER”, “REAR” and “SUBWOOFER”. Otherwise, these three options are invaild.

NOTE:
The digital output connectors are used to output the digital audio signal recorded on dics. You can output the
digital signal via ether coaxial output jack or optical output jack to an amplifier. If you set Audio Output to <Digital>
from on-screen disply, the sound will be output as the original sound recording format on discs (for example; Dolby
Digital).
WARNING
:
Do not connect both analog output (R/L) and digital output (Coaxial/optical) at the same time for audio output.
Do not set ”AUDIO SETUP” TO “Digital” via the on-screen display unless you are connecting (via the PCM/DOLBY
DIGITAL AUDIO OUT jack) an A/V decoder that has the Dolby Digital (AC-3) decoding function. High volumn sound may
damage your hearing as well as the speakers.
To return the screen to the SETUP MENU
Select “RETURN” and then press

To finish the setup operation
Press
SETUP
to exit or select EXIT from SETUP MENU screen.
