5.12 Advanced data logging
The
Save output data to file
feature will only work if the GUI application has created the specific
macro that is used to read the output values. If the user wants to create custom macros to read
output and store the output values to a file, the
Macro commands
view can be used.
First send a command to read specific sensor registers and then select the
Store responses to file
-
check box, which will store
everything
received from the evaluation board to a file. Figure 36
shows an example for reading the TIMESTAMP and z-axis output of an SCA3100-D04 sensor.

Note that the
Store responses to file
feature does not split the files, i.e. all the data is stored
to the same file until the check box is deselected!
