Your Mühle watch is equipped with an automatic
winding mechanism and is wound by activity
when wearing the watch. Once fully wound, the
watch has the power reserve listed in the technical
specifications. That is the amount of time the fully-
wound watch can be set aside without activity before
it stops.
The full power reserve is reached if the watch is worn
at least 12 hours a day at an average level of activity.
Alternatively, the watch can be wound
by hand (also see page 20).
Depending upon the model, 20 to 25
turns of the rotating crown are necessary in order
to build up the full power reserve. Mühle automatic
watches are equipped with a slip coupling, i.e. they
cannot be over-wound when winding by hand.
