. Remove drivers seat by removing seat trim first, then the (4) 15mm
bolts holding seat to floor.

Remove drivers' side threshold trim: remove three phillips head
screws and pull up on trim; it will release easily.

Remove drivers side kick panel.

. Using furnished wiring harness route 10ga red power wire starting
at the pre-amp location. Route wire under carpet beneath the driver's
seat, over to threshold and under carpet to the front of vehicle on driver’s
side.

Open hood.

. Drill a hole through the fire wall. Locate a spot low on the fire wall.
You should always look to find a clear path. Drill a hole from inside of the
vehicle into engine compartment and insert grommet.

Note: To avoid any damage to parts inside engine compartment,
drill from inside of vehicle using a short bit.

- The EBC, or Electronic Bass Control, allows a remote bass
control to be adjusted from the driver's seat.
Setting Crossover
You should set the crossover to your own personal listening taste. The
crossover is adjustable to any frequency between 50Hz (counterclock-
wise) to 150Hz (clockwise). As a guideline, the goal is to create the illu-
sion of bass up front. The higher the crossover point the more “audibly
visible” your sub is going to be. Take your time and really listen to your
system, grab a soda and a few of your favorite tunes and have fun.

. Mount enclosure in vehicle: align recess in side of enclosure with
brackets installed in Step 3
(see drawing below)
. Using screws provided
attach enclosure to brackets. Passenger side front can be reached from
under seat, through window in side of seat rail. Drivers side front is a little
more difficult, but can be done at a slight angle from the front of the driv-
ers seat (or remove seat as in Step 5). To reach the rear mounting holes,
move seats as far forward as possible and using a T-50 torx, remove
seat belt at floor. Install screws into enclosure through brackets. Reinstall
seat belts.
