Preconditions

☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
☑ Engine is filled with coolant and engine oil.

Engine mounts – Checking the

condition of resilient elements

Wipe rubber surface with dry cloth, do not

use organic detergents.

Check resilient elements for crack formation

and deformation by visual inspection.

Have cracked mounts replaced, contact

Service.

Engine mounts – Measuring adjustment dimension

Measure dimension (a) with Vernier caliper.

Note:

On new blocked mounts, the adjustment dimension is approx. 28 mm.

If the measured value of dimension a = 20 mm is lower than the specified value, the resilient element

must be replaced, contact Service.
