Dangers of Impact Zone
When the tester is working, it is important for you not to contact the potential
danger zone in any form. You need to understand which is the impact danger
zone and know how to use safety gears to protect yourself and others. The
following describes the impact zone and preventive measures that should be
taken if you work in its peripherals.
Location
The impact zone refers to pendulum's range of swing, i.e., within the scope of
shields.
Precautions
Do not touch any object in the enclosed area. The pendulum is in free fall
movement under the influence of gravity and therefore generates certain impacts,
hitting any object within its scope of swing.
So, do not allow any body parts to be within the pendulum's range of swing, nor
touch any moving devices, connections, hoses, cables, specimen, etc., as they
may generate serious blows.
