3-12 802.1x Configuration
The IEEE 802.1X protocol is designed to support port-based authentication and secure key
distribution. It can be used to distribute unique encryption keys for an entire BSS. Atheros
provides support for this protocol on both the Bridge and the STA.
To enable 802.1X on the Bridge, take the following steps on the RADIUS Server
Configuration window:
Specify the domain name server IP address.
Specify the name of the domain server.
Specify a RADIUS Server name.
Specify a RADIUS Server secret.
Specify the location of the Key Source as Remote
3-13 Access Control List Configuration Window
The Configuration window allows the setting of security information for the Bridge. From the
Configuration window, click on Edit ACL Settings to access the Configuration window (see
Figure).

Click Delete to remove any list item.
