Operating the appliance

For operating safety, the cutting wheel lever (5) is secured with the lock and
the cutting wheel (1) is in the park position with the blade edge inside the grip.

Pressing the lock latch (3) releases the lever (5). Hold the lever (5) depressed
to keep the cutting wheel extended and proceed with the cut.

Releasing the lever (5) retracts the cutting wheel back into its park position.
Pressing the lock latch (3) on the other side of the tool locks and secures the
lever (5).

The cutting wheel can be locked in its extended position so that the lever does
not have to be held depressed. Do this by pressing the lever (5), holding it
depressed, and pressing the lock latch (3) on the other side of the tool. To
retract the cutting wheel into its parked position, press the lock latch (3) and
do not press the lever (5). To lock the lever (5) and the cutting wheel in its
parked position, press the lock latch (3) on the other side of the tool.
