COM Express Carrer Board

PCI/PCIE Device Configuration

PCI Latency Timer

Ths tem controls how long each PCI devce can hold the bus before another

takes over. When set to hgher values, every PCI devce can conduct trans-

actons for a longer tme and thus mprove the effectve PCI bandwdth. For

better PCI performance, you should set the tem to hgher values.

EHCI1, EHCI2

Ths settng dsables/enables the USB EHCI controller. The Enhanced Host

Controller Interface (EHCI) specfcaton descrbes the regster-level nterface

for a Host Controller for the Unversal Seral Bus (USB) Revson 2.0.

XHCI Mode

Ths settng dsables/enables the USB XHCI controller. The eXtensble Host

Controller Interface (XHCI) s a computer nterface specfcaton that defnes a

regster-level descrpton of a Host Controller for Unversal Seral bus (USB),

whch s capable of nterfacng to USB 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 compatble devces.

The specfcaton s also referred to as the USB 3.0 Host Controller specfca-

ton.

Legacy USB Support

Set to [Enabled] f you need to use any USB 1.1/2.0 devce n the operatng

system that does not support or have any USB 1.1/2.0 drver nstalled, such

as DOS and SCO Unx.

Audio Controller

Ths settng enables/dsables the onboard audo controller.

Launch LAN1 OpROM

Ths settng enables/dsables the ntalzaton of the specfed LAN Boot ROM

durng bootup. Selectng [Dsabled] wll speed up the boot process.
