USING THE APPLIANCE
1.
Place the scale on a hard, stable and flat surface (not on a carpet, nor other soft surfaces).
2.
If battery is properly installed, the scale is ready to use. Stand on it and measure the weight.
3.
When standing on the scale the body weight should be evenly distributed. Stand still for a
moment. When the weight is measured correctly, the result will flash twice.
4.
After getting off the scale, when weighing is completed, the scale will switch off automati-
cally after approx. 6 seconds.
5.
By default the measurement is shown in kilograms, to change the pre-set unit of measure to
pounds (lb), press the switch (5) once, to stones (st), press the switch (5) twice.
Note! Do not exceed the maximum capacity - 180 kilograms/396 pounds/28 st. The “Err” message will be shown
on the display when the scale is overloaded. The “Lo” message will be shown on the display when the batteries
need to be replaced. Used batteries should be removed immediately from the appliance and replaced with
new ones. Be aware of the environment and do not dispose of batteries to the household waste bins. Before
disposing of or taking the appliance to a recycling centre, be sure to remove the batteries from the battery
compartment. Used batteries must be disposed of at appropriate collection points.
Always use the same type of batteries. The second compartment is used to store a spare bat-
tery. If the scale is not used for a longer time, remove the battery from the compartment.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. Do not use chemical and
abrasive cleaning agents. Do not use wire brush or any other abrasive objects. After cleaning
