In order to perform this measurement using the setup proposed in Figure 35 follow the instructions:

Set the PDM-IR trigger as INTERNAL TRIGGER an

d set the internal frequency between 10 to 100

times higher than the desired laser trigger frequency (the laser trigger frequency is

application dependent)

Set the NIM AUX OUT as TRIGGER GATE and connect it to the MPD Picosecond Delayer input.

The PSD, in this application, is used as divider, in order trigger the laser at the desired

frequency, i.e. 10 to 100 times less than the module gate frequency.

Acquire the raw data of the histogram by setting correctly the TCSPC system parameters.

Elaborate the histogram with a custom-made program or Matlab function.
