Services Monitoring/Control
Some services run in the background to provide services, such as ftp or telnet, for user requests. To
monitor and control these services, do the following:
Step 1:
Click the “Services” item on the main menu bar. The services that are running will be
displayed.
Step 2:
Click on the appropriate check box to toggle a start/stop operation for a service.
Binary/Text File Management
When working from a PC, it is convenient to have a friendly window-based file manager to
browse, delete, and organize files and directories. On the UC-7400-CE computer, such a
convenient feature is simulated by the web-based management system. Just click “File Manager”
to view the directory tree of your target UC-7400-CE computer. You can use the File Manager to
perform the following operations:

To browse a child directory, click the name of the directory.

To delete a file, click the icon with the
X
in front of the file icon.
y
To create a child directory, click
Create Directory
and then follow the instructions.

To refresh the current directory, click
Current Directory
at the top of the page.
