Internet Service Connection
The G2101 Series has an embedded TCP/IP stack that is driven by AT commands that enable the host
application to easily access the Internet. The advantage of this solution is that it eliminates the need for the
application manufacturer to implement their own TCP/IP and PPP stacks, thus minimizing cost and time to
integrate Internet connectivity into a new or existing host application. For a detailed description of the Internet
Service Connection AT commands, refer to the AT command list available on the Moxa website.
Here is an example of how to establish a transparent TCP client connection using the Internet Service
Connection commands:
1.
Have the TCP server application ready at the host station with opened local ports.
