Assembling and attaching the cowl

1.

Sand the front of the F1 bulkhead to create a smooth and flush surface for the cowl

balsa.

2.

Glue the three 1/4” balsa cowl pieces together. Notice that the smallest is on top and

slightly staggered, while the largest is on the bottom and is more staggered.

3.

Center the cowl pieces onto the F1 bulkhead, and then glue them into place.

4.

Sand the front of the cowl to give it a nice rounded look.

Step 3: Assembling the Wings

Once you’ve finished building the fuselage, you can begin assembling the wings. You
have now completed one large step for your plane, and one small step…well, you know
