The proper use and safety of the treadmill can be maintained only if it is examined regularly for
damage or wear. You as club manager or owner are responsible for maintenance tasks. Stop using
the treadmill until defective parts are repaired or replaced.
Pay attention to parts that is subject to wear, especially in the striding belt, deck and line cord.
Perform a proper lubrication periodically to keep the friction between the striding belt and deck low.
It is very important to prolong the lifetime of the striding belt and deck. Refer to section IV
Management of Product, titled Instruction for the use of lubrication oil.
Vacuum the floor surrounding and underneath the treadmill every week to prevent the accumulation
of dust and dirt.
Clean the display console and all exterior surfaces regularly with soft cotton cloth dampened in a
mild soap and water or a mild household cleaner. Never pour water or spray liquids directly on the
surface of the treadmill. Do not use ammonia, acid based cleaners, abrasive cleaner and paper
towels.
Check operation of the emergency stop system daily after turning on the treadmill.
Check and vacuum around the striding belt every week to keep debris from accumulating
Check make sure the treadmill is properly leveled. Refer to section IV Management of Product,
titled Level Adjustment.
Check make sure striding belt drifts off center. Refer to section IV Management of Product, titled
Striding Belt Adjustment.
When treadmill is not in use for a long time, turn it off and keep the power cord unplugged from the
wall outlet.
When you move the machine, be careful not to collide with obstacles like a wall.

Power ON/OFF switch.
Tripped circuit breaker.
Turn on power on/off switch
Check circuit breaker is tripped. If tripped, a
white button has popped out. Press the white
button to reset the circuit breaker. The circuit is
located next to power ON/OFF switch on the
outside of the treadmill.
In the United States and Canada, circuit breaker
is combined with power ON/OFF switch.
If tripped, the switch is turned to OFF position.
Probable cause (Condition)
Normal protective function.
(E°‡°‡ is displayed on Console Display.)
RS485 connection is loose.
(Normal display.)
Corrective Action
Refer to section “Protective function” and then
eliminate the cause.
Check electrical connection between MPU
board on Console and motor controller under
motor hood.
