Right-click the Wireless Print Server's
Printer
, and select
Properties
.

On the
Details
tab, click
Capture
.
The Capture Printer Port window is displayed:

Select the Device, normally LPT1 (parallel port 1).
Enter or select the Path to the printer:
\\printer_name\P1
Where
printer_name
is the actual name of your printer. The
printer_name
is MOT
appended with the last 7 digits of the device’s MAC address (see the MAC label on the
bottom of your device).
For example:
\\MOT3000014\P1
Select
Reconnect at logon
. If this is not done, the capture setting will be lost when
Windows is restarted.

Login as Administrator.

Open the command prompt window by selecting
Start
>
Run
and typing
CMD
in the
Open field.

Enter the following command:
net use lpt1 \\printer_name\P1 /persistent:yes
Where
printer_name
is the actual name of your printer. The

appended with the last 7 digits of the device’s MAC address (see the MAC label on the
bottom of your device).
For example:
net use lpt1 \\MOT3000014\P1 /persistent:yes
and press
Enter

To terminate this capture, use the following command at the command prompt:
net use lpt1 /delete
and press
Enter
.

exit
to close the window.
