• To move along the different Programming
Selection Mode without saving changes, short
press the PTT Button or (Menu) Button.
• To save changes, long press the PTT Button. The
radio returns to ‘Idle’ Programming Mode.
• When in ‘Idle’ Programming Mode, long press the
PTT button to exit the Programming Mode.
• Whenever you wrap around to the beginning of
the Programming Mode options, the radio
automatically saves all changes made, even if
you turn OFF the radio.
• Exit the Programming Mode without saving
changes (as long as you have not wrapped
around to the beginning of the Programming
Mode options) by turning OFF the radio.
PROGRAMMING RX (RECEPTION)
FREQUENCIES
Once you have chosen the channel you want to
program, short press the PTT button or
(Menu) button to scroll through the options until
you reach ‘Frequency Programming Mode’.
The radio display shows the frequency code as
follows:
To program the desired frequency, use the
and buttons to navigate to the
frequency code value you need. Long press
the PTT button to exit and save, or short press
the PTT button to move to the next
programming feature without saving.

you reach the ‘Code Programming Mode’.
