The recovery options available are:
This allows the user to reload a software image. This may be the
original image if software corruption is suspected or a step back to an old image if an
incorrect image has just been loaded.
Reset IP & Ethernet Configuration back to factory defaults:

Ethernet Interface Auto-negotiate, Auto-MDI/MDIX
This allows the user to erase the unit’s entire configuration. Executing
this option will also erase factory settings such as target MAC address, range setting, license
Zeroise Critical Security Parameters:
This allows the user to erase the security parameters
such as AES parameters. This is to comply with FIPS requirements.
This allows the user to reboot the unit. This option must be executed after resetting
the IP & Ethernet configuration or erasing the configuration detailed above.
This is the software version of the recovery operating system permanently
Indicates the reason the unit is operating in Recovery mode. Possible
reasons are “Recovery button active” or “Invalid or corrupt image”
The MAC address shown here is the MAC address of the unit programmed
The first step (Figure 79) is to use the ‘Browse’ button to locate the software image to be
downloaded. Once located the user should press the “Upgrade Software Image” button to
start the software download process.
During software download, progress is indicated by a pair of progress bars (Figure 80).
