Using additional handsets

At the called handset, the 

 symbol flashes and the calling handsets number is 

displayed. The user can press 

<

 to answer the call.

3.  Press 

<

 to end the call.

NOTE

If you enter an invalid handset number, the display will return to standby.

9.7    Transferring calls

You can transfer an external call to another handset registered to the base.

During a call:

1.  Press 

. The external caller will be put on hold and will hear a tone.

2.  Enter the internal handset number that you want to transfer the call. The called handset 

will ring. 
At the called handset, the user can press 

<

 to answer the call.

3.  At the original handset: When the other handset answers, press 

<

 to complete the 

transfer. 
If the called handset does not answer, press 

 to speak to the external caller again.

NOTE

If you want to cancel the call transfer, press 

<

.

9.8  3-Way 

Call

You can hold a 3-way conference call between 2 internal  handsets and 1 external handset.

During a call:

1.  Press 

. The external caller will be put on hold and will hear a tone.

2.  Enter the internal handset number that you want to hold the 3-way call with.
3.  When the internal handset user answers, press 

 to begin the 3-way call.

4.  Either internal handset can press 

<

 at any time to leave the 3-way call.
