Feature User Guide

3.6.7 Entering Emergency Mode

Press and hold the EMERGENCY button or enter the Emergency number and press SEND key to enter the
Emergency Mode.

The required time you need to press the EMERGENCY button is set to 1 second (by default). The time can
be configured by your service provider.

Upon entry into Emergency Mode all private calls are rejected. The radio remains in Emergency Mode until
you exit it.

3.6.8 Emergency Mode by Dialing

This feature allows you to trigger Emergency Mode by dialing a predefined number. It initiates the same Emergency
services as you would use the EMERGENCY button. Your radio can store up to eight Emergency numbers.

If this Emergency Mode was triggered by Emergency number (not by EMERGENCY button), you can
press the END key to exit the Emergency Mode.

3.6.9 Exiting Emergency Mode

Prerequisites:

Make sure that your radio is in Emergency Mode.
