Push to Talk 

Timeout Timer 

To prevent accidental transmissions and save battery life, the radio stops transmitting if 

you press 

  for 60 continuous seconds.

Note: To receive the call tone, radios that use Interference Eliminator Codes must be set 

to 0.

When battery is empty, the low battery icon 

  will flash, and the radio chirps 

periodically.
