AUDIO ADAPTER

 

The Audio Adapter allows you to connect an earpiece/microphone to your 

 

i1000

 

 for privacy and hands-free operation. 

The Audio Adapter that fits onto the bottom of the 

 

i1000

 

, provides a 

standard 2.5mm jack connection for an earpiece/microphone or headset. 

 

Installation Instructions

  1.  Hold the 

 

i1000

 

 and the Audio Adapter facing you so that you see the 

Motorola logo.

  2.  Insert the Audio Adapter’s connector into the 

 

i1000

 

’s receptacle. You 

will hear the connector snap into place.

 

Attaching/Detaching the Earpiece/Microphone

 

  1.  Insert the 2.5mm plug of the earpiece microphone cord into the jack of 

the Audio Adapter. 

  2.  Pull on the plug, not the cord, to remove the earpiece microphone.

 

 Removing the Audio Adapter

 

  1.  Press the button on the front of the Audio Adapter. The front displays 

the Motorola logo on the button.

  2.  Pull the Audio Adapter from the Nextel phone.
