again to turn it off sooner.

RECEIVING AND READING 
MESSAGES

When the pager receives a page, the number of un-
read messages (such as 

01

) flashes on the display

and, depending on the alert type you selected, the
pager alerts you in one of these ways:

• If you selected the vibrate pattern or one of the

seven tone patterns, the pager sounds an alert
(beeps or vibrates) for 15 seconds. Press any
button to stop the alert sooner.
