BIT MANIPULATION INSTRUCTIONS
The data ALU has a special Bit Field Unit (BFU) that supports
powerful bit-manipulation instructions that enable an application to
insert/ extract a bit field of varying width and position to/from an
accumulator. These instructions are summarized in
