Field 

Description 

 

Copy Control - level of copy control in the 1394 content. Valid values include: 

‘Copy Free’, ‘Copy Once’, ‘No Copies’, ‘Copy Never’. 

 

Nodes - indicates if the set-top terminal is the cycle master node, the IRM node, 

and/or the root node on the 1394 bus. 

 

Loop Detected -  indicates if a loop exists on the 1394 bus. 

 

EUI – device identifier 

 

Number of connected devices and associated device Identifier 

 

MPEG4 Passthrough – indicated if MPEG4 content is passed through to the 1394 

device. The user can enable or disable MPEG4 Passthrough by pressing the 
MENU key while on the 1394 Status OSD diagnostics screen (selection mode is 

indicated by ‘>>>’), then pressing SELECT key to toggle between Enable and 
Disable. 

DVR/Hard Drive Status
