Field Description
LAN Subnet Mask Enables you to create your own Subnet Mask
for your network. The Subnet Mask determines
which portion of a destination LAN IP address
is the network portion and which portion is the
host portion.
Enter a Subnet Mask address that you will use
for your network.
The default is 255.255.255.0
LAN DHCP
Server
Enables or disables the DHCP server. You can
only run one DHCP server on your network.
The default is enabled.
Address Pool
Begins
Based on what is entered in the LAN Private IP
field, the number entered here is where the
router starts handing out IP numbers. So,
using the default IP address, the next number
provided would be 192.168.20.2.
Address Pool Size You are able to reserve up to 253 slots on your
DHCP server for potential clients. For example,
when using the router’s default IP of
192.168.20.1, then all numbers up to
192.168.20.254 are available for use.
The default is 253.
If you want to make available every number,
enter 253.
Default Lease
Duration
Displays the Hours and Minutes of the default
lease duration. Enter in a new duration.
The default is 8 hours.
