Ending a Call
To end a call, press
E
key. The Call Ended icon is displayed.
When the call ends, if a song is paused, do one of the following to continue to
play the song:
•
Quick press (tap) the
A
key.
• First select Back To iPod in the iPod menu, then press
A
key.
Calling Features
Locking/Unlocking Control Module Keys
To lock keys on the Control Module, press and hold
A
key for 5 seconds.
The Hold/Lock Mode (
b
) icon is displayed and the Control Module keys are
disabled (locked).
To unlock keys on the Control Module, press and hold
A
key for 5 seconds until
the Hold/Lock Mode (
b
) icon is no longer displayed.
Using Privacy Mode
Your Audex system allows you to listen to audio in privacy using headphones. In
privacy mode, all audio from your phone or iPod is output to your headphones
(while the speakers in the jacket hood are silent).
To use privacy mode, connect your headphones into the headphone jack on the
Chest Module.
Note: Chest Module holder design may vary among jackets.

Mute / unmute a call Press

key when on a call,
OR
Select Mute/Unmute in calling
menu and press

key.
While call is muted, Muted is
displayed next to the Call Connected
icon. When call is unmuted,
Connected text is redisplayed.
Change the call volume Press the

and
J
keys.
Hold / resume a call Select Hold/Resume in calling menu
and press
A
key. Call On Hold icon
is displayed.
View call time Select Call Time in calling menu and
press
A
key.
End a call on hold Press
E
key.
