Refer to the table on page 56 to see what keys to press and how
many times to press them to select a character.
Note: To leave a space in the text, press > twice.
Note: If you erase all of the characters, Rotate the Mode Knob
to exit without making any changes. Begin again at step
3, or press
EXIT
to return to the home display.
6 Press any button on the telephone-style
keypad to enter new characters.
The blinking cursor indicates the position of
the next character to be added.
To enter a character at the blinking cursor,
refer to the following table.
7 Do one of the following:
• Press the
SAVE
softkey to save your changes.
You can continue to edit other names by returning to step 3.
OR
• Press the
EXIT
softkey to exit the name editing mode without
saving the changes.
8 Press the
EXIT
softkey to exit the programming mode and return
to the home display.
