Emergency Find Me
The Emergency Find Me (EFM) feature is an
additional emergency feature providing information to
the nearby radios, utilizing the Bluetooth Low Energy
(BT-LE) transmission from a radio. In an emergency
situation, when the user press the pre-programmed
Emergency button, there will be periodic Emergency
Find Me beacon transmitted from the radio along with
the other existing emergency activities. The radios
which are near to the transmitting radio and capable
of receiving BT-LE signals would receive the beacon
transmission. The range of EFM beacon depends on
the environment in which the radios are located.
Check with your dealer or system administrator for
more information on the programming of this feature.
