Step 5 - Test the GPS receiver

4- Press the
Rfrsh
soft key. The screen will display
Scanning For Satellites.
5- Once the GPS has acquired a fresh position, the screen will display the position information.
Notes:
1- To complete this task, the phone must be visible to GPS satellites. Ideally, the phone
must be outdoors, with an unobstructed view of the sky. If the handset is in a vehicle or
in a building, it is always better to place it near a window.
2- GPS date and time are displayed in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) rather than your
local time.
Step 6 - Remove unneeded Java programs
By removing unneeded applications, you simplify both the
Java Apps
menu and the process of
running Air-Trak. Furthermore, you free up space to store data if and when your phones goes out of
coverage. Please do not remove
Download Apps
and
Java System
for they are required to
download and run the Air-Trak application on your phone. Please follow these steps to remove
unwanted Java applications:
1- From the
idle screen
and press the
menu
button.
2- Scroll to
Java Apps
and press
OK
.
3- Scroll to the application you want to remove and press the
menu
key.
4- Scroll to
Deinstall
or
Remove
and press
OK
.
5- A confirmation screen displays. Press
Yes
.
6- A warning screen displays. Press
OK
.
7- A progress screen will display. When your phone has finished removing the application,
