Charging the Battery
New batteries are partially charged, so you must charge them
before you can use your handset. Some batteries perform best
after several charge/discharge cycles.
Battery Use
Battery performance depends on your wireless carrier’s network
configuration; signal strength; temperature; features and settings
you select and use; and your voice, data, and other application use.
Caution
: To prevent injuries or burns, do not allow metal objects to
contact or short-circuit the battery terminals.
To maximise your battery’s performance:

Always use Motorola Original™ batteries and battery
chargers. The warranty does not cover damage caused by
using non-Motorola batteries and/or battery chargers.
Do This

Plug the charger
in with the release
tab up.

Plug the other end of the charger into an electrical
outlet. While the battery is charging,
Charging Battery
and the battery’s current charge level (
Very Low
to
High
)
displays on the screen.

When
Charging Complete
displays, press the release tab
and remove the charger. The typical time needed to
fully charge the battery is three hours.
