Recording Voice Tags for Contacts

You can record a voice tag when adding a new contact
(page 59), or when editing a contact (page 64).

Note:

The contact must have at least one phone number

entered to assign a voice tag.

You can record a voice tag for all phone numbers for a
contact. However, each phone number must have a unique
voice tag.

Tip:

Make your recording in a quiet location. Hold the

communicator about 4 inches (10 centimeters) from your
mouth, and speak directly into the communicator in a
normal tone.

Tap

Add

The Contact Information form displays and

(new

field)

displays next to the added field.

Repeat these steps to add more fields.

Action

When adding or editing a contact, tap the

Voice

tag

box under the phone number.

When prompted, tap

Record

and speak the

desired voice tag.
