Place chair base upright on floor, stabilizing it so it does not move or slide.
Insert gaslift cylinder into hole through chair base.

Attach the optional arms using the screws provided.

Carefully place seat assembly onto cylinder, fitting cylinder into the hole in bottom of seat
mechanism. Press down firmly.

Place the chair back into the seat mechanism, and tighten at the desired height. Before
making any other adjustments, sit firmly on the chair to complete assembly.
