If the RC signal has not been received and decoded successfully
1
Your unit will stay in “0:00” with all the symbols cleared and will stop receiving the
RC signal after 15 minutes.
2
Press the mode button (8) once to switch the unit into self quartz oscillation Auto
Run Mode. Please refer to the SETTING THE TIME AND DATE IN REAL TIME

If you wish to receive the RC signal again, press the RC signal receiving mode
button (14) to start receiving the signal.
Press the RC signal receiving button (14) to change the RC signal receiving mode
accordingly.
1
When the
symbol flashes you will start receiving the RC signal
2
When the
symbol clears your unit will start receiving the RC signal at 0:00 or
12:00 only.
NOTE:
a) In order to get a clear, accurate RC signal, your clock requires several minutes for
receiving. This is normal.
b) Please do not place the RC signal receiver (1) near any electronic or electrical
products to avoid any interference (e.g. TV set, computer, refrigerator etc).
Clock operation (operate without RC signal)
Your clock is designed to operate by either synchronizing with the RC signal or
built-in quartz oscillation, which means your clock can always be working even after
you have left the RC signal transmitting area.
Weak or no RC signal is detected:
When there is a weak RC signal (not enough for synchronizing), the “0:00” will
appear. Please set the clock manually. (Please refer to the clock setting section).
