6-11 Function Selection Keys
The function selection keys allow the operator to select
the type of screen to be displayed.
Using these keys, screens with 8 different functions can
be accessed.

[POS]
Used to access the screen that displays:
- actual position data
[SYSTEM]
Used to access the screen that displays:
- the self-diagnosis data, parametric data, etc.
[PROG]
Used to access the screen that displays:
- program edit screen
- MDI program screen
- list of the program presently executed
[MESSAGE]
Used to access the screen that displays:
- NC alarm
- PLC alarm
[OFFSET]
Used to access the screen for display and
setting of:
- offset data
- work coordinate system, etc.
[SETTING]
Used to access the screen that displays:
- operation panel
- rotary tool (MC type)
- PC work counter
- tool life management
- load monitor
- setting
- timer
- weekly timer
- communication parameter
[CAPS]
Used to access the screen that displays:
- conversational program
- tool file
- conversational programming parameter, etc.
[NETWORK]
With the machines not equipped with the
network function, the function is not called
even when the switch is pressed.
