Using the upright showcase for the first time:
l
Place it on a flat and stable surface and open the unit's door for proper ventilation.
l
Clean the unit's exterior and interior with a soft and clean, dry cloth before using.
l
Connect the power cord to the power supply and power on.
l
Do not place food or other items into the unit immediately. Allow it to operate empty
for some time.
l
Allow adequate ventilation in-between spaces of the unit.
GENERAL OPERATIONS
l
Allow hot food to cool down before storing into the unit.
l
When storing food, keep some distance away from one item to another.
l
Ensure that cooling vents are not obstructed with food or other objects.
l
Do not open door frequently nor leave it ajar to ensure optimal cooling and energy
saving.
l
In the event of a power cut, wait 5 minutes before powering on the machine to avoid
damaging the unit.
l
Disconnect the power cord from the power supply if the unit is not used for long
durations. It is also recommended to cover the unit before storing.
NO COOLING
l
Check if there is a power cut.
l
Check for connection between the power plug and power supply.
l
Check if the fuse is switched off.
l
Check if auto-power cut off has been activated (for applicable models only)
LOW/POOR COOLING
l
Check if the thermostat is operating properly.
l
The unit is exposed to sunlight or placed near heat sources.
l
There may be dust on the compressor and condenser.
l
Too many food items stored inside the unit.
l
Hot food stored immediately may be the cause.
l
Door opened frequently.
l
Door left ajar for a long time.
l
Thick frost on the inner cabinet.
UNIT IS NOT OPERATING
l
Thermostat temperature may be set too high.
l
Too many food items stored inside.
l
Ambient temperature is too high.
NOISE
l
Ensure that the unit is placed on a flat and stable surface.
l
Unit may be placed too close to walls.
l
There may be objects on top of the unit.
l
Disconnect the power cord from the power supply before proceeding to clean the unit.
l
Use a soft cloth or sponge and clear water or mild soap liquid to clean the unit.
l
Do not use organic, alkaline, hot water, acid or other abrasive cleansers/solvents to clean
the exterior.
l
Avoid spraying water to clean the compressor.
DEFROSTING
This unit will automatically defrost, so you don't need to do that manually. In case the frost
exists in air duct panel, you can simply clean it with a cleaning rag.
LAMP
On the control panel:
l
Press “O” to turn the lamp OFF.
l
Press “1” to turn the lamp ON.
l
Lamp replacement: Contact your authorised service technician to replace the faulty
lamp. Do not to attempt to replace or repair the lamp yourself to avoid a short circuit
and/or voiding the unit’s warranty.
